Project: Conversion of Methodist chapel to family home

Description:
Purslows were initially instructed by the Methodist church to obtain planning permission to convert the disused chapel to a three bedroom residential property. Planning was achieved through negotiations with the Local Authority despite the building being outside the residential policy area.
Following the sale of the building we were retained by the purchasers to produce building regulations and construction drawings. The design included forming a mezzanine to the rear third of the chapel to provide a master bedroom and en-suite with two ground floor bedrooms and open plan living/dining area.
